THEATER RENTAL PRICING INFORMATION

Maysles Cinema is an ideal space for Special Events and Community Gatherings. Be it a reception, conference, meeting or party, our Cinema is a convenient, spacious, and flexible environment to host a variety of events. The Institute staff will be more than happy to assist you in making your special occassion a success.

Depending on what you need, the Screening Room is available as well as the Downstairs Reception Area. The Reception Area can also be used as an additional screening room.


Evening Rental Package:
$150 per hour - 4 hour minimum + $100 deposit

Included in this package:
Use of Main Screening Room and Downstairs Reception Area.

The Screening Room capacity is 60 people.
The Reception Area capacity is 40 people.

We provide one projectionist/supervisor

Acceptable Screening Formats for Maysles Cinema:
Mini DV/DVCAM, Beta Sp, DVD, VHS, VHS/Pal, Mini DV-PAL, Cable box (Direct TV), DVD-DHT, Blu-ray

Formats for Slide Presentations:
I Photo, I Movie, Powerpoint 200

Optional Services:

Cameraman: $25/hour
Bartender: $20/hour
Clean-up Service: $25/hour

* Events going past 12 midnight require certified security at renter's expense.
